Happy baby, sick baby

Saturday, we took Connor to my college for Homecoming. He hadn't been yet and had fun! He smiled at all the nuns and they thought he was just the cutest thing :) He played on the grass by Hulman and smiled at the nasty alpacas. Pics coming soon.

Yesterday, mom/grandma came over and brought him the latest CraigsList find. A Nascar jumper/bouncer/exersaucer. He loves it :) Last night, he scooted over to it and reached out for it, wanting to get in.

Around 1 this morning, he woke me up. He had mucus all over his face. No fever, just really congested. So far Tylenol, aspirator, humidifier and saline are working. He's sleeping comfortably now.

Big Day Yesterday!

Connor had a big day yesterday and doesn't even know it :)

He had his first taste of green peas. He liked them so much, he wanted seconds!

His first tooth broke through! He's been a bit clingier lately, but nothing major.

He got up on his hands and knees for about 2 seconds, then fell over.

He's had his eye on the dog for a while now. Last night, she was laying about 3 feet from him. He had been watching her and we noticed he was scooting over to her. He made his way over to her so he was laying about 6 inches from her. Madi knew he was there but was watching us. He actually fell onto her and she didn't even flinch.

What a busy day!

Big Boy!

Feet are yummy (and my camera sucks!)

Playdate with Amanda's foster son (7 mos old!)

Connor is now sitting in his high chair. Oatmeal is yummy. We tried butternut squash tonight and it was a HIT!

4 Month Appt

Connor is 4 months old today! We had his 4 month appt/shots.

Head: 17 inches
Length: 26 1/4 inches
Weight: 16 lbs 15 oz (let's just call it 17, ok?)

Everything looks great. He took his shots well. Cried during, was fine after. Dr said he can start solids!

Roly Poly

Now that Connor has shown me that he can roll over on his own, that's all he wants to do! He's rolling over on the floor and in the crib when he's supposed to be sleeping! So now we're a tummy sleeper. He scared the crap out of me this morning though. I got up around 3 am and he was on his tummy. I went in to check on him. I could barely feel him breathing and he felt cold. I flipped him over right away and he freaked out :) He was fine.

Mom got him a Bumbo seat and he loves it so far. Now he can sit up and not have to be on our laps. This will make it easier when it's time to work with him on spoon feeding.

Hydrangeas

The hydrangeas by my porch are blooming.
