Feet are yummy (and my camera sucks!)

Playdate with Amanda's foster son (7 mos old!)

Connor is now sitting in his high chair. Oatmeal is yummy. We tried butternut squash tonight and it was a HIT!

4 Month Appt

Connor is 4 months old today! We had his 4 month appt/shots.

Head: 17 inches
Length: 26 1/4 inches
Weight: 16 lbs 15 oz (let's just call it 17, ok?)

Everything looks great. He took his shots well. Cried during, was fine after. Dr said he can start solids!

Roly Poly

Now that Connor has shown me that he can roll over on his own, that's all he wants to do! He's rolling over on the floor and in the crib when he's supposed to be sleeping! So now we're a tummy sleeper. He scared the crap out of me this morning though. I got up around 3 am and he was on his tummy. I went in to check on him. I could barely feel him breathing and he felt cold. I flipped him over right away and he freaked out :) He was fine.

Mom got him a Bumbo seat and he loves it so far. Now he can sit up and not have to be on our laps. This will make it easier when it's time to work with him on spoon feeding.

Sit Ups

Connor had a good time at Aunt Gail's last weekend for Mason & Miller's 3rd & 1st birthday party. He got passed around some. Still didn't get to take him in the pool. It was another cloudy/cool day.

All he wants to do now is sit up. Doesn't want to lay down to eat, wants to sit up. Doesn't want to have tummy time, wants to sit up. My mom got him a Bumbo seat today, but we won't get it till next week.

We had to add a tiny bit of cereal to his formula. He was spitting up almost everything he was taking. The cereal has helped quite a bit. I'm going to ask the doctor about it at his appointment on the 20th.

Speaking of babies, mine is crying.

Updates

Jon, Connor and I went for a nice walk last night. It's hard to take him for a walk when you have no sidewalks. We had to cross 10th St (another 30mph road that people go 40+ on) and that's just no fun. And not very safe, in my opinion. But I'm not going to load everything into the Blazer for a 30 minute walk. I'll have to this winter though. We'll probably go to the mall and join the morning mall walkers. I really need to get going and start an exercise plan. I have a list of exercises that are safe after a c-section, I just need to find it!

I am going to Babies R Us tonight to buy a mesh crib bumper. This child is such a mover. The other morning he woke me up by screaming. That horrible, scared/hurt scream. He was on his side, with his chest pressed against the crib bars, and his arms and legs all the way through.

He's starting to roll over somewhat. Definitely with help and very slowly on his own. I know he rolls over on his own because he'll do it in the crib. I just haven't seen it.

3 months, more pics!

Connor is already 3 months old today! It's amazing to watch him grow and change. Jon had him rolling over on Saturday (with and without help). He's such a good baby. He sleeps through the night (with a few exceptions) and is learning new things every day.

First, my new haircut. Tony convinced me to go a bit shorter so the rest could be donated to Locks of Love:

What are you doing?

What IS that?

He fell asleep while Jon was feeding/burping him :)
