Jon did take some belly pics over the weekend. However, my computer at home has been acting up, so I haven't gotten them uploaded yet. Hopefully by this weekend!

Cradle
My mom called last night. She talked to our cousin Les and we are going to borrow the cradle that he restored a few years ago. It was used by my grandma, Aunt Ev, Aunt Verla and Uncle Wendell. So starting in 1920. How cool is that?

Welcome!
Some of you already know, some don't, but we are expecting!
I am 15 weeks, 5 days today. We heard the heartbeat on Monday. We won't have an ultrasound until 20 weeks. At that time, provided Baby JB cooperates, we can find out if it's a boy or a girl.
I haven't gained any weight yet (actually lost 6 lbs, which Grandma Jennings nicely says was needed anyway...), but had to start wearing maternity clothes for work yesterday. My uniforms were just too tight and uncomfortable.
Madison (our Rottweiler) must know something is different. She follows me everywhere. If I go to bed early, she lays outside the door and if I move, she goes and gets Jon to check on me.
Kobe (the mare I've had for 7 years) knows something is different. She won't let Raja anywhere near me. Raja has been with us for a bit over a year and still has a lot of trust issues. Someone wasn't very nice to him. He can be very unpredictable. If he comes near me, Kobe gets between us and pins her ears at him. Kobe also keeps sniffing at my belly. She's such a sweetheart. I wouldn't trade her for anything.
The farrier comes tomorrow. Jon is not on call and has already informed me that I am not to do anything with the horses. He will hold both of them. Kobe is a good girl and doesn't really need to be held, but Raja can be goofy. Since we do trims in the driveway in nice weather, he doesn't want me near them just in case one were to swing around and knock me over or push me. I agree when it comes to Raja, but not Kobe. I'm not taking any chances though.
I'll try to keep this updated, so check back often. At this time, comments won't be screened and I don't think you need an account to comment. Just leave your name so I know who you are ;)
